However, state authorities have came up with plans to endorse region’s waterfalls, lush green forestlands and inland waterways as alternatives for the beaches.
While no one can argue that vacationers on flights to India during any other time of the year are likely to land up in Goa at some point or other, it is equally true that monsoon brings along with it a drop in the number of tourist inflow to the state.
If it works, it really would be hugely beneficial to Goan tourism and Indian travel industry as a whole.
