Ten of India's hotels 'among the world's favourites'

Travellers booking their cheap flight to India may be pleased to learn that the country boasts some of the world's most beloved hotels.

According to this year's annual global Expedia Insiders' Select list, which is now in its third year, the Oberoi Grand in Kolkata scored top among the accommodation options in the country.

Other Indian hotels to make an appearance in the global list include Agra's Oberoi Amarvilas, the Shangri-La Hotel in New Delhi and Goa's Lemon Tree in the beach resort of Amarante.

The Oberoi in Mumbai also featured and could be a great accompaniment to cheap flights to India.

Russell Crowe challenges journalist to cycling race in Sydney

According to reports, the star saw comments made by Sydney Daily Telegraph journalist Annette Sharp claiming that he skipped an exercise session for a cigarette and a taco and responded by challenging her to a bike race to prove his fitness.

So, last week, Crowe and Ms Sharp met face-to-face for a 12-mile bike ride across Sydney, which the mother-of-three lost and was subsequently made to eat her own words.
