Uzbekistan Airways Considers New Routes To Mumbai

Uzbekistan Airways fans planning holidays to India’s entertainment capital, Mumbai have a reason to smile now as Uzbekistan Airways is planning to introduce new flights, connecting Tashkent and Samarkand to Mumbai. In next three to four months, the Uzbek national carrier will start operating the new route, in order to improve air connectivity between India and Uzbekistan.

The new flight will make air travel to India, particularly for travellers from the Uzbekistan or those transiting the country much more comfortable and convenient.

The necessary documentation has already been filled out and filed to the Indian aviation ministry to procure regulatory approvals and permissions and the airline hopes to launch their new flights to India sometime in July 2012.

With its hub at Tashkent International Airport, Uzbekistan Airways currently operates flights to Delhi and Amritsar. However, with it’s fairly higher number of economy and premium economy class seats, the airline could possibly turn out to be a good choice for those who look for economy class tickets on cheap flights to India for leisurely breaks or business tours!

The airline announced the launch of its new flights weeks after India's Civil Aviation Ministry announced the opening of 11 new international sectors in an effort to improve global connectivity including new routes from New Delhi to Tashkent.

With its efficient use of Boeing and Airbus airplanes in its fleet, Uzbekistan Airways is a popular airline that offers lucrative deals on its flights to Asian, European or North American destinations!
