Jetstar to Boost Bangkok-Singapore Services from July

The popular low cost carrier; Jetstar is all set up to offer tickets on eight additional flights to its weekly schedule between Singapore and Bangkok.

The wholly-owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, Jetstar will offer tickets aboard five daily flights between Thai capital and Singapore with effect from July 8, 2013. With its new services, the budget carrier is all set to add over 2,800 of new capacity each week on the route in its endeavour to tap the increasing travel demand on the route.

Industry insiders believe that the airline has announced to offer tickets on additional flights in order to tap the ever increasing travel demand on the popular route. The development is sure to catch the attention of increasingly higher number of budget travellers who are often to be seen searching tickets options on affordable flights to travel between Bangkok and Singapore. 

With the new services, the carrier will offer tickets for 106 weekly flights arriving in Thailand that includes services from Singapore and Sydney to Phuket and services from Singapore and Melbourne to Bangkok.

The low cost carrier currently offers tickets for more than 500 weekly return flights to 23 destinations across 13 countries and territories in the Asia Pacific region.
