Wyndham Hotel Group Launches Two Properties in Singapore

Jetstar to Boost Bangkok-Singapore Services from July

International holiday makers who are often to be seen in a look out for tickets on cheap flights to travel between the popular Far East destinations of Singapore and Bangkok are certainly a happy lot. The popular low cost carrier; Jetstar is all set up to offer tickets on eight additional flights to its weekly schedule between Singapore and Bangkok.

The wholly-owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, Jetstar will offer tickets aboard five daily flights between Thai capital and Singapore with effect from July 8, 2013. With its new services, the budget carrier is all set to add over 2,800 of new capacity each week on the route in its endeavour to tap the increasing travel demand on the route.

Industry insiders believe that the airline has announced to offer tickets on additional flights in order to tap the ever increasing travel demand on the popular route. The development is sure to catch the attention of increasingly higher number of budget travellers who are often to be seen searching tickets options on affordable flights to travel between Bangkok and Singapore. 

With the new services, the carrier will offer tickets for 106 weekly flights arriving in Thailand that includes services from Singapore and Sydney to Phuket and services from Singapore and Melbourne to Bangkok.

The low cost carrier currently offers tickets for more than 500 weekly return flights to 23 destinations across 13 countries and territories in the Asia Pacific region.

Singapore Airlines to Enhance Network in Indonesia

The national airline of Singapore, Singapore Airlines (SIA) is all set to boost frequency and network in Indonesia. The airline will now increase frequency to popular island resort of Bali and Jakarta and initiate flights to Surabaya, offering seamless connectivity and added options to vacationers and business travellers seeking tickets on the popular route.   

From 26 July 2013, Singapore Airline will add fourth daily service to Denpasar (Bali) and ninth daily flight to the capital city of Jakarta. In addition, the carrier is also going to take over one of two daily Surabaya service currently run by its regional subsidiary SilkAir. It is planning to deploy 285-seater Airbus A330s, ensuring comfortable journey to fliers booking tickets for flights operating on the route.

The airline presently offers tickets for 56 Jakarta and 21 Bali flights per week. While the airline’s subsidiary, SilkAir is operating 60 weekly services to nine Indonesian destinations and contemplating to provide tickets on flights to two new regions namely Semarang and Makassar from July and August.

Bali and Singapore are among the two renowned south-eastern destinations in Asia, luring legions of international travellers. It is expected that the initiative of SIA’s to enhance flights frequency and network would be extremely beneficial for both holidaymakers and business travellers who remain on constant quest for tickets to travel between these two Asian destinations.
