The International Indian Film Academy awards are on their way to the USA. The highly coveted Bollywood extravaganza is going to be held in the country in 2014. This will be the very first time that India’s biggest showbiz names will be taking USA bound flights for becoming a part of the IIFA. The event is scheduled to take place at the Tampa Bay in Florida in June 2014. Surely, those who have plans to book tickets for American holidays during the period can look to enjoy this Indian flavour in the USA.
Bollywood has an enormous fan following in the USA, thanks to a large Indian diaspora. Officials in Tampa are optimistic that the massive film festival will be successful in attracting fans from all over the USA, persuading them to book flights tickets and land here. Hardcore Bollywood fans are likely to grab flights tickets even from distant places like European cities.
Of late, there has been a surge in the viewership for movies from India all over the globe, which is not restricted just to USA or UK. And IIFA has done its bit to promote it. The 2013 event was held in Macau. It has travelled to Africa, Europe, Asia and North America in more than 10 years of its existence.
The event will also witness a variety of other programmes and celebrations apart from the awards ceremony. All this is sure to act as tickets for those who desire to grasp flights of fancy to the land of multi-coloured spectacle!
