International holidaymakers and thrill seekers booking tickets on flights arriving in South Africa’s popular city of Durban in the month of June 2013 will soon be able to enjoy adrenaline pumping event as the destination is all set to host the popular Top Gear Festival, 2013.
South Africa’s popular city, Durban is looking forward to host the popular event for the second time and is expecting to boost the number of tourists spending on tickets for international flights to the country.
Some of the world’s biggest names in motor racing like Mika Hakkinen are expected to join in the festivities.
Last year, Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium, People's Park and Street Circuit played the venue for the super successful event with around 67 000 local and out-of-state visitors who booked tickets aboard flights to the country. Last year, the visitors were treated to entertaining live shows, exciting street racing, and an amazing motoring exhibition where some of the world's greatest supercars, classic automobiles and motoring memorabilia were on display.
This time, besides the usual antics of The Top Gear Street Circuit Show, South African Motorsport Racing and car parades, the event will also feature professional drivers performing some breathtaking stunts to entertain visitors booking tickets on all South Africa bound flights during the Top Gear Festival.
