Emirates to Connect Boston and Dubai

As per its press release, Emirates will start flights to Boston, USA from 10th March 2014. This will be a non-stop service, offering added options to those who prefer direct flights while booking air tickets even on a long-haul route.

This is the operator’s 8th route into the USA and the 9th into North America. It already offers tickets on flights to Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Washington Dulles. The airline has decided to run these USA flights by using a Boeing 777-200LR.  Emirates is one of the most highly acclaimed flight operators. Fliers, booking tickets for Boston travel, will soon have the option of enjoying the award-wining hospitality of the carrier. 

Boston is one of the oldest cities in the USA, and is visited by millions of travellers, each year. The city is home to some of the USA’s finest medical and educational facilities.  

From 10th March 2014, EK237 will leave Dubai at 0945hrs and arrive in Boston, USA at 1515hrs. For return flights, EK 238 will depart Boston at 2255hrs and land at the UAE city at 1910hrs, the following day. 

Emirates has an agreement with JetBlue, which enables fliers booking air tickets with either airline to travel on each other’s flights and also to earn reciprocal miles.

Kenya Airways to Start Direct Services to Abu Dhabi


The flag carrier of Kenya, Kenya Airways has announced a launch of direct services from Nairobi to Abu Dhabi, the capital city of UAE, offering wide connectivity and added options to flyers seeking tickets on flights operating on the route. It will offer tickets for UAE bound flights operating thrice a week from July 1, 2013.  

The new services will run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Abu Dhabi is carrier’s second destination in UAE after Dubai, where it provides tickets for flights operating ten times a week.

The announcement comes months after the Kenyan flag carrier has signed a code share agreement with Etihad, the national airline of UAE. According to airline’s Chief Executive Officer and Group Managaing Director, the new route will provide a good link between Africa and Middle East. It will also contribute to improved connections and more choices of travel into different parts of Middle East. 

Abu Dhabi International Airport remains a significant international gateway to UAE. It is a popular cosmopolitan centre of business and a tourist destination that enjoys immense popularity among business and leisure travellers who seek air travel tickets. Certainly, the launch would spell vast connections and added tickets for all sorts of flyers. 

As per the schedule, flights will depart from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport hub in Nairobi at 1925 Hours and arrive in Abu Dhabi at 0105 the following day. While the return flights will leave Emirati city at 0205 Hours and arrive in Nairobi at 0555 on the same day.
