The Penguin Parade at Phillip Island

Although, the city is crammed full of a world of spectacular attractions, there are certain wonders which are individually worth every penny you spend on booking cheap flights to Melbourne. The Penguin Parade at Phillip Island is one such attraction. It feels as if you have entered the set of Animal Planet when you get to watch scores of little penguins scampering across the beach to their sand dune homes.

Melbourne Cricket Ground

The Melbourne Cricket Ground needs no introduction for any cricketing aficionado. The venue has seen some of the biggest matches in the history of cricket. The National Sports Museum and Australian Cricket Hall of Fame are two of the biggest draws here.

A few years back, this 92 storied building was the tallest apartment in the world and even today, anyone who books flights to Melbourne is extremely unlikely to miss it. The 88th floor of this building is known as the Eureka Skydeck 88 and gives an eagle’s eye view of the city.
