Holidaymakers 'should invest in an international SIM'

Business travellers flying to India or people taking a family holiday in Australia may be able to save themselves money by investing in an international SIM card.

This is according to Tom Newton, a spokesperson for mobile comparison website Recombu.com, who said that for a one-off fee people could save on their calling charges.

"As well as getting travel insurance, sun cream and tea bags sorted and packed before you head off, a good idea would be to invest in an international SIM card," he explained.
