Philippines Airlines to Launch Flights from Manila to Guangzhou

In order to cater to growing demands of tourists seeking tickets on flights running between Philippines and China, the flag carrier of Philippines, Philippine Airlines (PAL) is launching flights from Manila to Guangzhou - capital of Guangdong province and a prominent cultural and historical attraction. 

The airline is going to offer tickets for four weekly flights scheduled to start from July 16, 2013. It will code them as PR382 and PR 383 on return. 

Guangzhou is the third largest metropolis in China, after Beijing and Shanghai. PAL is launching these flights on accounts of strong passenger traffic to and from the destination. According to reports, there were 52,279 Manila tourist arrivals in the Chinese city and 56,107 Chinese tourist arrivals in Manila in 2012.

Currently, the carrier provides tickets for travelling to five Chinese destinations including Hong Kong, Beijing, Macau, Xiamen and Shanghai. It is going to be one of the few full-service airlines to serve the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, offering wide connectivity to business and leisure travellers who remain on a constant lookout for tickets for conveniently flying to the historical and cultural city of the country.  

International travellers can also take advantage of the airline’s vast network and book tickets for travelling from its hub in Manila to various domestic and international destinations.
